Obituary of Shirley Wiles

Passed away at St. Andrews Terrace, Cambridge on Sunday March 11, 2012 at age 82. Shirley was very active in the Sunday School at Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was retired from Dominion Life and Manulife after over 45 years of service. Beloved wife of the late Peter Wiles (2005); loved sister of Donna and the late Jack Bettke of Elmira and Timothy McIntyre and sister-in-law of Martha Dugan, Leona Wiles, Betty Arkell, Mary Wiles, Norman (Bill) and Marge Wiles. She also will be greatly missed by her loving friend Diana and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother James (Bud) McIntyre and by brothers-in-law, Clark Dugan, Art Wiles, Gerald Arkell, Don Wiles, and Richard Wiles. Friends are invited to share their memories of Shirley with her family during visitation at Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 137 Queen St. S., Kitchener on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 1 - 3 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. A reception will then be held in the fellowship hall of the church. Interment will be in Mount Hope, Kitchener on Friday, March 16 at 10:30 a.m. Special thanks to the staff of St. Andrews Terrace for the love and compassionate care given to Shirley.
