Obituary of Erica Janzen

Passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Parkwood Mennonite Home, at the age of 93. Erica was born on November 24, 1917 in Ohrloff, Russia, to Henry and Susanna Klassen (Friesen). Survived by her loving sister Agnes Klassen of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by Paul Janzen (Janet), Linda Schneider (Jim) and Helene Stevens (Lane). She will be missed by her grandchildren as well as her many nieces and nephews. Erica was predeceased by her husband Hardy and siblings Margaret, Dick and Harry Klassen. Friends are invited to share their memories of Erica with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, March 15 from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Cremation with interment at Pleasantview Cemetery, Fonthill, will take place at a later date.
