Obituary of Doris Schweitzer

Passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Waterloo, age 89 years. Doris was a Grade 1 School Teacher in Wellington County for many years. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo and a member of the Breithaupt Senior Centre Mostly Music Group Wednesday afternoons. Beloved wife of the late Earl Schweitzer (August 2001). Loving mother of Linda and her husband Jim Schwindt of Elmira, Trish and her special friend Brian Nettlefold and Ron and his wife Wilma all of Callander, Ontario. Will be remembered by her grandchildren Ian (Jen), Eric (Joanne), Ryan (Melissa), Mark (Jessica), Heather and Emma and also great grandchildren Owen and Julin. Predeceased by her sister Elda Bell. Doris's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Linda Ashfield officiating. Reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
