Obituary of Saakje VanderDuim

Passed away peacefully in her 93rd year, on Saturday March 24, 2012 at Hospice Wellington, Guelph. Loving Mother of Edwin Feenstra of Red Deer, Alberta, and Ronald Feenstra of Vancouver, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Robert and his wife Suzy and their two children Liam and Taylor. Sister of Tetje Devries (Jan) of London and Gelske "Gail" VanderZee of Kitchener. Sandra will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and sister-in-law Tiete VanderZee (nee Van Dyk). Predeceased by husbands Oege "Hugh" Feenstra and Bert VanderDuim, and brothers Theunis and Joseph VanderZee. Sandra was a master weaver. She enjoyed listening to, and playing music, painting, travelling, and reading. One of Sandra's favourite things to read was the Twenty Third Psalm. A Celebration of Sandra's life will be held in the chapel of Luther Village, 139 Father David Bauer Drive, Waterloo, on Monday April 2, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow. Cremation has taken place.
