Obituary of Alexander MacKinnon

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at his residence, at age 83. Beloved husband of Esther (Ganouri) for 28 years; loved father (uncle) of Samantha Ganouri and Bruno Parada and their children Alexia and Logan and Kerwin Ganouri and Debbie Samy and their children Gabriella and Ethan. Alex will also be remembered by his children Judy and Alan Cayford, their children Amie (Timothy) Bonsted, James, David, and Eric Cayford and Janie Chappell and her daughter Gwen Chappell, and the Ganouri family. Predeceased by sisters, Kathryn (Edwin) Rumig and Theresa (Clarence) Schmidt and a brother Neil Brown. Friends are invited to share their memories of Alex with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Buda CR as Celebrant.
