Obituary of Harry Wendell

Passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at St. Mary's General Hospital, at age 92. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Dahmer); loved father of John, Steven and Linda, Kristine, and Peter and Trish; loving grandpa of Blair, Adam, Dane, Amanda, Chris, Landon, Corbin, Emily, and Blair Jaworski; dear brother-in-law and golfing buddy of Robert Dahmer and Nancy Fowler (Ron). Predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. Harry was a Charter member of Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, a former employee of Electrohome Ltd. and served with the Merchant Marines as a radio officer during WW II. Friends are invited to share their memories of Harry with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday (this evening) from 7-9 p.m. A committal graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow later in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tanya Ramer officiating. A reception will then be held in the Historic Kuntz House of the funeral home.
