Obituary of Nada Selmanovic

Nada Selmanovic (nee Novosel) June 29, 1951-April 24, 2012 Passed away peacefully at home after a challenging and a courageous battle with cancer. Nada was the best friend and loving mama of daughters Sanela (Ivica) and Sabina. A wonderful and loving Baka of Sanja, Maja, Dino and Ivan. Nada will be missed by her sister Dobrila (Buba), brother-in-law Drasko Jovanic, nephew Darko and niece Danijela and their families. Predeceased by her husband Fikret Selmanovic, her parents Janja and Milan Novosel and infant sister Dobrila. Nada was born in Kraljevo, Serbia. Nada and her family settled in Kitchener on September 26, 2000. Nada's passion was to care for her daughters and grandkids and even in her illness she was always caring about others. A graveside service will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery, 1541 Fischer Hallman Road, Kitchener on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 2:20 p.m. A special thank you to Dr. Ward, RN Nadine S. and everyone part of the incredible Palliative Care Team.
