Obituary of Lydia Tuchel

Passed away peacefully in her sleep in the Palliative Care Unit of Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, April 30, 2012. Lydia will be sadly missed by her family and friends including her sister, Olga and husband Charles; niece Kim and grand-niece Natasha; niece Vanessa and husband Todd and grand-nieces Olivia and Addison; her partner, Heinz Reiter; nephew Wally; and niece Anita. Lydia was predeceased by her husband Eugen Tuchel. We will remember Lydia's grace, beauty and charm. She will be greatly missed, but we know she is at peace with God. Many thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors in the Palliative Care Unit at Freeport Hospital. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, May 2, from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, May 3 from 1 - 1:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 3 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo with a reception afterwards in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
