Obituary of Ruth Bartley

Passed away after a brief illness on May 4, 2012 at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in her 89th year. Cherished mother of Ruthmarie (George) Ernst and Barbara (Ron) Goebel. Loved grandma of Robert (Josie) and Jason (Andrea) Ernst and Cathy (Mike) Rowell. Dear great-grandma of Karl and Christopher Ernst, Emily Mayer and Faith Goebel. Ruth will be sadly missed by her sisters Shirley Gascho and Marguerite Lederman as well as her sisters-in-law Olive and Eileen Bartley and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Karl, grandson Bradley Goebel, and brothers Leroy and Lorne. Ruth was a Charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Legion Branch 530 as well as a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, May 9, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Legion Branch 530, 19 Regina St. N., Waterloo.
