Obituary of Betty Thalman

Passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the age of 84. Betty is survived by her sons, John and Stephen (Suzanne Frick); daughter-in-law, Patricia McKay; grandchildren, Tamara and Benjamin; brother, Richard Cheney and wife Gene. Predeceased by her former husband, Hans Thalman. Betty retired from the University of Waterloo as a Professor of Romance Languages. Following Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place.
