Obituary of Aaltje Van Dalen

The Lord took home his servant, Aaltje "Alice" Van Dalen, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday May 27, 2012, at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Hank Van Dalen (2003) for 65 years. Loving father of Hank and his wife Jackie of Markham Ontario, Marjorie Bylsma and her husband Kenneth of Kitchener, Alice J.H. Van Dalen of Kitchener and Ralph and his wife Diane Van Dalen of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother to Laurie Van Dalen; Rick Van Dalen (Lynn); Angela Bylsma - Anderson (Wayne) and grand-children Amber, Roy and Emily; Denise Van Dalen and grandchildren Tristan, Mykahla and Aiden; and Candace Van Dalen (Rysiec). Alice is survived by her brother Ralph (Rita) Pol of Goderich and sister Roeli Kreeft of Holland. Predeceased by her parents Roelof and Margje Pol of Holland and her sisters and brother. Visitation will be held at Community Christian Reformed Church , 1275 Bleams Rd. Kitchener on Friday June 1, 2012, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A private family burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau has taken place. A celebration of Alice's life will be held at the Community Christian Reformed Church, 1275 Bleams Rd, Kitchener Ontario at 11AM with Rev. Darren Roorda officiating.
