Obituary of Shirley Stewart

Shirley Doris Stewart (nee Epworth) passed away peacefully in Kitchener on Sunday June 3rd, 2012 at the age of 72. Devoted and loving wife of the late Robert Nolan Stewart. Cherished mother of Penny and her husband Chris George, and Shelley and her husband Mike Griffiths, and Bob and his wife Kelly Stewart. Loving grandmother of Brian, Andrea, and Lindsay, Wesley, Katelynn (Evan), Melissa and Shirley's newest addition her great grandchild, Alexis (Katelynn and Evan). Dear sister to the late Robert Epworth and his wife the late Marilyn and Terry Epworth and his wife Natalie. Shirley will be missed by her nephews, niece and her other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the Winston Park Nursing Home, caregivers and nurses for their compassionate care. Family and friends will join for a Memorial Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S, Waterloo (519) 745-8445 on Thursday June 7th 2012 from 7:00-9:00 pm. A Traditional Visitation and Service will take place at the Breckenridge Ashcroft Funeral Home, 241 9th Street West, Owen Sound on Friday June 8th, 2012 from 12:00 -2:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Owen Sound. If desired a donation in Shirley's memory may be made to Alzheimer Society.
