Obituary of Dorothy Schmidt

Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, on June 11, 2012, at the age of 79. Dear sister of Gladys Roeder, loved aunt to 16 nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Edith Schmidt and sisters Mabel Rank, Mildred Fortune, and Marguerite Schmidt (in infancy). Dorothy was employed with Smiles N' Chuckles for many years. She retired from the kitchen at K-W Hospital. Friends are invited to share their memories of Dorothy with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, June13 , 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow St. , Waterloo on Thursday, June 14 at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
