Obituary of William Shuh

SHUH, William (Bill) 1919 - 2012 Passed away at the Hanover Care Centre, Hanover on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the age of 93. Predeceased by his wife, Shirley (2003); son, Douglas (1970); son-in-law, Charles Koenig (2012); and brothers, Earl, Ward, Robert, Edward, and Frederick. Survived by his daughter, Judith Karen Koenig of Hanover; grandchildren, Dwight and Lisa Koenig, Vicki and Paul Gobbi, Jackie Koenig; great-grandchildren, Blaze, Carissa, Kurtis, Erika, Nicholas, Chelsea, and Sophie; and great-great-grandson, Ambrose. Also survived by sisters, Ruth Barr and Myrtle Small; and sisters-in-law, Audrey Shuh and Mary Shuh. Bill was an accountant and bookkeeper, owning and operating three different memorial monument companies in Kitchener, Guelph, and Brampton. He was a longtime member of the Evangelical Missionary Church in Kitchener and Hanover and was District Treasurer and Board Member of Canada East District of the Missionary Church for 25 years. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Bill with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 1 p.m. A reception will follow at the funeral home with interment after the reception at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
