What I will always remember about my uncle Johnny was him singing "King of the Road" when we were kids - well I was a kid, he was a teenager. Although I never saw him much since growing up, that memory will always remain.

John was an extremely remarkable man and we will miss him greatly. The love of his family shone through whether he was talking with Margaret, speaking about Paul or recounting the antics of his grandchildren. Throughout his illness, he carried on with incredible courage and dignity, always trying to ease the pain of his family. During our visits, John would reach deep into himself no matter how bad he felt and welcome us graciously. John was a wonderful and considerate friend and we will never forget him.
