Dear Clyde and family,
It's really hard to believe a year is already gone by. Just wanted to let you know that I often think of Laurel and remember the times we would come visit your place in the fall and could not resist the neatly raked piles of leaves. I still remember seeing Laurel in the window and smiling as 8 active kids destroyed the piles before they got picked up. I Really miss Laurel and wished we hadn't had to move so far away all those years ago. I hope to see more of you now that I'll be in B.C. Love you all.

In reading the messages from others, one common theme was Laurel's smile. That made me remember Laurel's beautiful smile. We worked together for quite some time in the accounts receivable dept. at Maple Lane Dairy. We had some to the best laughs and conversations in that room. We often shut the door when we found out the staff in the other room could hear our laughter! I really enjoyed working with Laurel - I just had to turn my head to the left and there she was. I am sure everyone form Maple Lane Will remember her and feel sadness. I am sorry I cannot attend the funeral, but a prior commitment at my church must be kept.
