I have great memories of the Ventry family. Charlene and I went to school & Girl Guides together in Bridgeport. Unfortunately, the last time I saw Charlene was our Grade 8 get together in 1994. I often drive by her family home on my way to the Bridgeport Cemetery and smile at the good memories of Charlene and her family. My sincere condolences to the whole family.

I am sad to see such an amazing woman leave this earth far too soon. Charlene has always been like a sister to me as we had a strong bond right from the start. I hope and pray that she is finally at peace and my condolences go out to Amber, Courtney, Katie and David. She will be forever missed.

The best memories I have of my Aunt Char from when I was a child was that I was jealous that she had a fishbowl of goldfish in her bathroom, amazed that she could make "fried ice cream" but most of all that she reminded me so much of her mom, my nana. Our family lost her far too soon as well and it was Aunt Char who kept her presence alive. And now another great lady has left us far before her time. We are sad to have not been able to say goodbye but I hope she is at peace, and in heaven with Nana, Papa and my Dad. xox
