Obituary of Carole Hergott

Carole passed away peacefully in the care of Lisaard House in Cambridge on Monday, September 3, 2012. Predeceased by her parents Gladys Schwoob and Carl Fitzgerald. Beloved step daughter of Ralph Schwoob (Karen) and the late Rose Fitzgerald. Loving wife of Ken Hergott; dear mother of Kevin and his wife Susan, Brad and his wife Joanne all of Waterloo. Special grandma to Brandon (Amy), Kelly (Chris), Tara and Lindsay; great grandma to Kalen and Isaac. Remembered by brothers Doug of Waterloo, Ted of Minden, Carl (Bonnie) and Brian all of Port Perry and Mike (Patty) of Whitby; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Carole was the manager of Customer Service with Canada Trust (37 years) at the Fairview Branch. For many years she volunteered with Waterloo Minor Hockey as well as the Ladies Auxiliary; she was the recipient of volunteer recognition from the City of Waterloo. Carson's Camp at Sauble Beach was a special place for Carole and Ken, enjoying their family times together and walking the soft sands of Sauble. The Hergott family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, September 5th , 2012 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, September 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church 22 Willow St., Waterloo at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
