Obituary of George Keller
George passed away peacefully after a long happy life on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Pinehaven Nursing Home, at age 92. He was born in Maryhill on August 31, 1920.
Beloved husband of Rose (Roth) for 60 years; cherished father of Kathleen (Scott Ashe) of Cambridge, Verna Keller of Waterloo, Marilyn (Grant Boettger) of St. Clements, and Lori (Michael Wolfe) of Waterloo. Loved grandpa of Karen (Shawn), Melani (Tyler), Nicholas, Samantha, Jordan (Sarah), Natasha, Corey and Jesse and great-grandson Layne.
Dear brother of Bernice Boettger, and brother-in-law of Theresa Keller. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Irene (Logel) Keller; his brothers, Charles and Joseph; sisters-in-law Bertilla and Elvira and brother-in-law Walter Boettger.
George was a faithful member of St. Boniface RC Church in Maryhill for many years, and more recently of St. Agnes RC Church. He was an Honourary member of Maryhill Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Agnes Holy Name Society. George lived and farmed on the family farm for 56 years. He was employed at Ontario Livestock Exchange and Byford Gift Shoppe, St. Jacobs Farmer's Market.
George will be remembered for his friendly smile and happy personality and many beautiful gardens and flowers.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, September 6 from 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Morning Prayers will be said on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:15 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes RC Church, 72 Bluevale St. N. Waterloo at 11 a.m. with Father Piotr Machnacki, S.A.C. as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery. A reception will then be held in the parish hall.
