Obituary of Daniel Ridley

Ridley, Daniel James July 6, 1972 - September 4, 2012 The Dan we will all remember was a true friend, kind and gentle, a rock of strength for his family. A quick wit and sharp sense of humour could surface and surprise at any time. Lived in and loved Toronto for several years before returning to his home community of Kitchener-Waterloo. Music was a huge part of Dan's life. An accomplished guitarist, he self-produced and recorded several albums. His expertise was respected in the industry and by other lovers of music. A calm demeanor, an ability to meet challenges head on and a willingness to mentor others served him well as an Investment Advisor at Belmont Village Financial Group in Kitchener. Cherished son of Pam and Don; much loved brother of Jalynn. Dan's memory will forever be held in the hearts of his extended family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Grand River Hospital and St. Mary's General Hospital who showed such care and compassion.
