Obituary of Maria Isaak

Passed away peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at the age of 90. Dear mother of Erwin (Erv) and his wife Marnie Derksen. Cherished grandmother of Cathy Derksen and Chris and his wife Ana Derksen. Loving great-grandmother of Emily and Claire. Devoted wife of the late Peter Isaak, and her first husband Cornelius Derksen. Will be fondly remembered by her sister Luise Rempel. Predeceased by her brothers Ewald Stobbe and Henry Stobbe. Mary was a long time member of W-K United Mennonite Church and was actively involved with the Mission Circle. She donated many knitted blankets for Project Linus. Friends are invited to share their memories of Maria with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
