CLEMENTS, David Robert (Bob)
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the age of 90.
Devoted husband of the late Jerene Clements (nee Shantz); loving father of Daniel (Joanne) Clements of Cambridge and Joan (Bruce) Pulsifer of Cambridge; much loved Grandad of Kyle (Susan) Clements and Amy (Wesley) Cressman; dear Great-Grandad of Julia and Maxwell Clements, and Gabriel Cressman, and of step great-grandchildren Savannah and Christopher Cressman. Also remembered by his special friend Muriel Misch.
Fondly remembered by brother-in-law Ralph Shantz and his wife Helena Shantz and many nieces & nephews.
Predeceased by his brother Lee Clements and his sister Jean Panter.
Bob was admired greatly as one of those people who excel at whatever they do. Bob was a long-time employee of Canbar Wood Tank Co., Waterloo. Bob was also known for his many hobbies of woodworking, stained glass and clock making, as well as for showing his many travel videos. He was a long-time member of Benton St. Baptist Church, Kitchener.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Pastor Bob Parks of Benton St. Baptist Church officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the fireside reception room of the funeral home. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
A memorial service will also be held at Luther Village on the Park for all his friends there, on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 4 p.m., preceded by a 3 p.m. visitation, Chaplain Jeff Kentel officiating.
