Devoted husband, to his beloved wife Gloria (Nix) for 67 years, Dedicated father to Rick (and Lina) Price, Cheryl (and Chris) Fleming, Deb Ziegler, Wendy (and Frank) Glanznig; grandfather to Darren (and Susan) Fleming, Christy (and Ian Gallaway), Jen Fleming, Katie (and Eric) Agyemang, Caitlyn Price, Derick Price, Matt Ziegler, Jenna Ziegler. Proud great- grandfather of Emma and Connor Fleming and Jack, Cameron and Brynn Gallaway. Predeceased by his parents Fredrick Price and Cora Overholt and his son Randy. Fred was a longtime, active member of the Kinsman and K40 Clubs, including being deputy governor in 1966 , founder and co-host of the Kinsman TV auction. He was also an active member of the RCAFA KW 404 Wing and the Royal Canadian Legion. He enjoyed curling, golf, fishing, boating, travel, and cheering for "his" Blue Jays. He was our Father Christmas. From Santa and his reindeers atop of the houses on Maplewood Place, to the towering Christmas trees, he and Gloria made unforgettable Christmas memories for the family and many welcomed friends. He retired from Canadian General Electric in 1982, with 40 years of service and spent his long retirement enjoying Florida, Morningside (New Hamburg) and the cottage in Penetang until he became a full-time caregiver for Gloria. His love and devotion for his wife is a life inspiration for us all. Our special thanks to the wonderful, compassionate staff at Winston Park who have been ongoing "angels" to our parents but thanks especially for the love and kindness shown to our entire family this last weekend. Cremation has taken place.
