Hazel was one I remember as a true example of a gentle and genuine Christian lady. In the 1980s I went to the Priddle's home to do some repairs on their basement, and realized that the Hazel we students knew from functions and special gatherings at Emmanuel was the same warmhearted and caring lady in her own home as she was when in the eye of the public. Her sincerity and Christlikeness was evident as a feature of who she was every day as a person. She leaves an example of what it means to 'walk in the presence of Christ', and this gift to us will continue in our memories forever. Ivan Franck

We recognize again the joy of knowing Jesus in these times of parting, and the assurance that His promises are true and eternal. Hazel was one of the sweetest and most gracious people we knew as we were going through our Bible College years. Her gentle disposition and engaging smile were a real encouragement to us as students while we were at EBC, and in the times that we met later, whether in Kitchener or at Stayner Camp. I once did a bit of work at the Priddle's home, and found that Hazel was just as genuine away from school as at school. To have such good examples for young people growing up is a true treasure. Our prayers are with Mr. Priddle and the family as we celebrate the life of Hazel and her reward she has with Jesus.
