Obituary of Edna Schnarr

Passed away peacefully at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener on Monday, November 5, 2012, at age 97. Beloved wife of the late Howard Schnarr (2000); loved mother of Donna Martinello and Nancy (Brent) Sim; loving grandmother of Lisa (Glenn) Wolff, Christopher (Sonja) Martinello, Michael (Janis) Martinello, Jennifer Sim, Katrina (Michael) Giorgio, Andrea Sim, and David (Amy) Ponka, and great-grandmother of Reece, Alessandro, Nadia, Matthew, Alexander, Keenan, and Kaj; dear sister of Jean Jarosz. Predeceased by her daughter Patricia Ponka, son-in-law Larry Martinello and by sisters, Norma, Nelda, Evelyn, and Irene, and by brothers, Allen, Howard, and Walter.Friends are invited to share their memories of Edna with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, November 7th, from 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 8th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen St. E., Waterloo with Rev. Chris Buda C.R. as Celebrant. Interment in Parkview Cemetery. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
