WINDSOR, Jessie Anna Jane Elizabeth

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at St. Mary's General Hospital in her 82nd year. Jessie Windsor, dear mother of Brian and his wife Muriel of New Dundee, Terry and his wife Ruby of Clifford, Mark and Jane of Kitchener, and Tim and his wife Pam of Kitchener.
Loving grandmother of Sarah and Uli, Jessica, Cecelia, Jonah, Sonia, Mary, Brandon, Amanda, Codie, Josh and Kate, Jeremy and Sarah, Teresa, Jeff, Jennifer and Paul, Jason, Melissa and Christopher. Beloved great-grandmother of Victoria, Olivia, Max, Tim, Joe, Nick, Ally, Owen, Stratton, Emma, Caleb, Zachary. Nanny to Christopher and Sarah. Extended loving family of Jane Ellis, Kirk and Mary Miller, Olu and Tracy Peters, their children John, Florence, Michael and Esther. Predeceased by her parents, Werner Krauss and Goldie Manser, her sisters, Marjorie Hopp and Myrtle Wagner and her brother Arthur Strome. Jessie was a long time member of Faith Evangelical Missionary Church in Kitchener. She was recently attending Lamplight Church with her family. She was a retired teacher in early childhood education and a Nanny for the Miller family. For 20 years, she was involved with the Women's Prayer Breakfast Group at F.E.M. Church. Jessie was an active volunteer with many different organizations such as her church, Alzheimer Society, Sunnyside Home, Our Place Pre-school, Bethany Church Kid's Breakfast program, and a teacher's aide. Jessie was also a foster parent at home and she organized a program for "Via" Life for seniors. Special thanks to the staff and nurses on the 3rd floor Cardiac Wing of St. Mary's Hospital, nurses Melissa and Vicky, also Dr. Ahmed Jakda, for their kindness and loving care shown to Jessie and her family during this time.
Friends are invited to memorial celebration of Jessie's life on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, 3849 King Street East, Kitchener. Private respects can be shown beginning at 12:45 p.m. Refreshments and a special gift from Jessie following the service.
