Obituary of Georgia Stopp

It is with great sadness that we announce the quiet passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on the morning of Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the age of 92. While her past four years were defined by a devastating illness, her previous 88 years were lived with energy, productiveness, and dedication to her family. She is survived by daughters Eleni (Brian Turnbull), Marianne (Richard McKenna) and Brigitte (Michael Krukowski). Also survived by grandchildren Johanna, Jessica and Andrew Turnbull, Thomas McKenna and great-grandchildren Ryzoh, Lukkas and Jazzmyn Turnbull. Predeceased by her husband, Bernhard (1991), and son Guenther (1973). Georgia will always be remembered for her grace and gentle spirit. Thanks and sincere gratitude are extended to the fine staff at Leisureworld, Elmira, for their care. A private family service has taken place.
