I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Battler's passing. I grew up in the house across the street, and I always remember Mrs. Battler as the nice lady across the street, who bought my girl guide cookies, and made the most awesome brownies every Halloween! She was always so sweet and caring. I am so sorry for your loss....

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Battler's passing. As her neighbours for four years, we were in awe of her. She looked so much younger than her 93 years - more like a spry 60 year old, very bright and healthy. She kept to herself a lot, and we only saw her come out to check on her grounds every so often, unless we had something to share with her (a card or cookies). I know she loved Our Lord Jesus, so I know she is safe and well. Until we meet again, around His throne of grace, dear Mrs. Battler, sweet rest my friend. Sincerely, The Lemon Family
