Obituary of Margaret Montgomery

Passed away peacefully, at Heritage House, St. Jacobs, on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the age of 104 years. Cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie Wilson, loving sister of her late brother Harrison and late sister Dorothy. Beloved wife of the late P. Barrie Stevenson of Toronto and the late John "Monty" Montgomery of Kitchener. Margaret is the loving mother of son Edward "Ted" and his wife Fay Stevenson of Toronto and daughters Elaine van Merkestein of Kitchener and Enid Gatcke of Fonthill. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Special thanks are extended to the staff of Heritage House, St. Jacob's for the kindness and outstanding care she received. Margaret's family will receive friends during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow in the Historic Kuntz House. Cremation and interment have taken place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
