Obituary of Marjorie Glofcheski

Glofcheski, Marjorie 1928 - 2012 Passed away peacefully in her sleep, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday December 9, 2012, age 84. Loving mother of Bob and his wife Dolores, their children Jennifer and Mat Blain, Jason and Nichole Glofcheski and Amanda Glofcheski; David and his wife Emerance, their children Emma, Owen, Stepheny and Hope; Janet and her husband Joe Weikmann, their children Josh and Danielle Weikmann and Kayla Cherished great-grandmother of Greyer, Corbin, Knox, Cali and Lily, and Athena. Will be fondly remembered by her sisters Gwen and her husband Ken Newman and Bett Gunn. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Glofcheski and daughter Marie Glofcheski; brothers Jim Long, Bob Long, Gord Long, Mel Long and Roy Long; brother-in-law Gord Gunn. Marjorie was a long time parishioner of St. Agatha R.C. Church and an active, dedicated member of the C.W.L. Marjorie spent many hours quilting and playing euchre and solo with the seniors group. Friends are invited to share their memories of Marjorie with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha RC Church, 1839 Notre Dame Drive, St. Agatha, on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Daniel Lobsinger, C.R. as Celebrant. Reception will immediately follow the mass in the parish hall. Private family interment to follow at a later date.
