Obituary of Gwen Young

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a sweet and gentle soul at the Westmount Long Term Care Center on Thursday December 13th, 2012. Beloved mother of Patricia, Stephen and wife Donna, and Michael. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Katelyn, Maegan, and Lauren Young; Kierra and Brett Young. Predeceased by husband Art (1992), son Robert (infancy) and sisters, Doris, Marion and Kathleen. Survived by sisters Lorna, Helena, Hilda and sister in law Margaret Smith. Fondly remembered by Cindy Young. A special thanks to Lorraine Storey for her care and support for Gwen these past few years. We would also like to thank the staff at Westmount for their tender care of our mother. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gwen with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Monday December 17th from 6-9pm with Parish Prayers being offered at 8:30pm. Visitation will than continue on Tuesday December 18th at from 12-1pm with the memorial funeral service being held in the Chapel of the funeral home at 1pm with Father Jim Valk officiating. Spring interment to take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
