Obituary of William Goetz

Goetz, William Paul Sept. 22 1919 - Dec. 22 2012 Passed peacefully into the loving arms of his savior with his devoted wife of 65 years Wilma, and his family by his side. Loving father to John (Judy) Goetz of Cambridge, Bev (Doug) Baechler of Heidelberg. Special Poppa (Opa) to Heather Sakai, Jon (Patti) Goetz, Jeff (Jess) Baechler, James Baechler; great-grandchildren Nathan Sakai, Rylan Goetz, Liam and Emma Baechler. The youngest of nine children of Johann and Elizabeth (Erickson) Goetz, William is survived by his sister Esther Soehner of Paris. William worked for Mel Berg Tire and MacMillan Tire. He was a lifelong member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday December 28, 2012 from 1p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 2p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
