Obituary of Pearl Scherer

SCHERER, Pearl Emma (nee Schneider) 1916 - 2012 Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the age of 96. Beloved sister of Helen Schneider, Audrey Schneider, Gordon Schneider, and Donald Schneider and his wife Joyce. Lovingly remembered by her six nieces, nine nephews and special friend Mindy Hurley. Predeceased by her husband Carl; parents, Valentine and Catherine (Gerth) Schneider; brothers, Harry, Edwin, and Clayton Schneider; and sisters, Deliela Hackbart, Minerva Kellsey, Dorothy Bridge, Elsie LaFlamme, and Ruby Schneider. Pearl was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Pearl with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Malina officiating. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau. A reception will be held in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room.
