Obituary of Nancy Ford

Ford, Nancy Elaine (nee Wall) Passed away peacefully at home on January 1st, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 55. Much loved wife of Cam Ford, loving mom to Katie and Shannon and step mom to Justin and Adam. Cherished daughter of John & Susie Wall of St. Jacobs, sister of Donald Wall (Janet), Edward Wall (Sue), and Karen Sider (Steve). Daughter-in-law of John Ford and the late Pat Ford. Sister in law to Kelly and Marty Dulson, Chris & Patti Ford, Adam Ford, Quinn and Wendy Ford and many nieces and nephews. Although it was much too early to lose her, she will be remembered by so many as a caring wife, mother, sister, friend & neighbor. She worked for many years as a dental assistant for Dr. Midgley in Kitchener and was appreciated by many patients for her kindness. She loved to serve others and always remembered to ask about concerns in the lives of those around her. She was someone who cared deeply for the hurting, whether they were close family or friends or only people she met along the way. The overwhelming kindness of others during her brief illness was a testament to the love she poured out. A special thank you to the personnel and medical staff of the Cancer Centre of Grand River Hospital and the CCAS and their compassionate care. Friends are invited to share their memories of Nancy with her family during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday January 4, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Memorial service will be held at Westheights Community Church 82 Westheights Drive, Kitchener, on Saturday January 5, 2013 at 11 am. Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Reception to follow.
