Obituary of John Gravel

Passed away peacefully at his home in Waterloo surrounded by family on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the age of 76. Loving husband of 51 years to Dorothy, father of Peter (Andrea) and Kathy, grandfather of Brent and Marina, and brother of Joan Begley of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Beatrice Gravel of Montreal. John was an Advertising Executive with agencies in Montreal, New York, Vancouver and Toronto. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hockey, tennis, golf, football, and later in life slow pitch baseball in Myrtle Beach and Waterloo. John's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 10 - 10:45 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo will be Friday afternoon.
