Obituary of Doris Moogk

Passed away peacefully at home, as was her wish, on Friday, January 11, 2013, age 90. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Benjamin Moogk, who predeceased her on September 7, 2012. Mother of Carol Moogk-Soulis, her husband Ric Soulis and Mary Anne Whittington, her husband Rod. Grandmother of Neal Moogk-Soulis, Graham (Michelle Benes) Moogk-Soulis, Bethanie (Jason) Rausch, Laurelee (Erin) Farmer, Katelin (Trevor) Pfaff and Chad Whittington (fiancée Ashley). Great-grandmother to Lucan Farmer, Amelia Pfaff and Locklyn Pfaff. Predeceased by her parents, Carl William and Emilie Katherine (nee Amrell) Wolfenberg and brother, Walter (Alma) Wolfenberg. Doris was a long-time member of Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church and later Redeemer Lutheran Church. Prior to marriage, Doris worked in the office at Dominion Rubber and later at Mutual Life Insurance Company from 1973 - 1988. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The funeral service will then be held on Friday, January 18, 2013, 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John Street West, Waterloo. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
