Obituary of Mary McKenty

Passed away peacefully at Forest Heights LTC on January 13 with family by her side. Mary was predeceased by her husband George (1993) and her daughter Pat Pantaleo (2004). She will be missed by her sons Gerry (Patty) of Kitchener and Paul (Peggy) of Pickering. Mary leaves ten grandchildren John Paul (Tammy), Margaret Mary, Catherine (Erick), Jason (Natasha), Christine, Nicole (John), Melissa (Chris), Tricia (Trevor), Sarah (Giorje), Meagen (Andre) and also thirteen great-grandchildren. Mary, who spent most of her life in Toronto, was a loving mother, an avid golfer, a fitness enthusiast, and a loyal Montreal Canadian fan. During the 14 years that her adult daughter was confined to bed at Providence Villa, Mary was a daily visitor bringing her cheer and seeing to Pat's comfort. Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and on Sunday Jan 20th from 12-2 p.m. Immediately following this, a memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Toronto in the spring.
