Obituary of Donald Eby

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13th at the Lanark Heights Long Term Care Centre in his 86th year. Loving husband to Betty (nee Barker) for 63 years. Beloved father to son Jim and his wife Donna and daughter Diane Ostvold and her husband Arnold and son David and his wife Beth. Very special grandpa to Julie (Clay), Todd (Jennifer), Karina, Tor David, Daniel, Drew and Adrienne. Poppy Don to his great-grandchildren; Grace, Victoria, Jack, Anna and Alice. Don was the son of the late Aaron and Hilda Eby. Survived by sister Dolores Cappolino. Predeceased by a brother John and sister Janet Harnock. Don was employed at Onward, Morval, Electrohome and later retired from M.T.D. Products. He was a devoted member of the St. Columba Church for many years and on the board of Independent Living for 10 years. Visitation will be held at St. Columba Anglican Church, 250 Lincoln Rd., Waterloo, On., on Saturday, January 19th from 1-1:45 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
