Obituary of Allan Webber
Allan passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Columbia Forest in Waterloo at the age of 92.
Beloved husband of Ruth Louise Webber; dear father of Jennett Webber of Mississauga and Jacqueline Johnston and her husband Ken of Cambridge; step father of Cameron Morrison and his wife Susan of Waterloo and Lynn Morrison of Kitchener. Also survived by grandchildren Carolyn Coss, David Coss, Lois Johnston, Don Johnston; step-grandchildren Alexis, Alex and James Morrison and 5 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by special friends Annette Gimbel, Heather and Brian Delahunt.
Predeceased by his first wife Edith Winter and a brother Jack Webber.
Allan owned and operated Butler's Marina on Puslinch Lake for 20 years. He served in the Canadian Army from 1939-1945 in the Mediterranean and the United Kingdom. Awarded the Italy Star, France and Germany Star and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal; a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530 Waterloo.
Friends are invited to share memories of Allan during visitation on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The Memorial Service to celebrate his life will take place at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Following the service a reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room.
