Paul was a kind and polite co-worker. He didn’t talk a lot but when he did it was well worth listening to what he had to say. He loved his family and one time showed me a photo of himself with all of his siblings. I also remember that he took vacation days during the Olympics so that he wouldn’t have to miss watching the athletes perform because he had to go to work. He was a fine person and will be dearly missed.

Many fond memories with Paul at St Barbara's and later, chugging up to U of Waterloo on the back of my Honda 175 where we shared astudent basement apartment. Good thing there were only a few steep hills! In all those years I dont think he and I ever had any kind of disagreement. Best memory was beating him (finally) in a Who can stay awake the longest while at university in 1973...He fell asleep after 47 hours!! One of the few events I beat him at. I expect he's playing catcher for the home team now. I will miss you my friend!

Sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I worked with Paul at the Region of Waterloo for 29 of his 33 years. He was a good friend. I have many good memories of our time together: NFL football trips from 1988 to 1994 Playing softball in the same league for about a dozen years Bowling on the same team for many years - I will never forget Paul bowling a 260+ game to clinch our teams first championship in 25 years of existence Golfing at our bowling team golf trips Shooting the breeze about sports and other topics of interest Paul will be missed. Our deepest sympathies.

Paul, you were an awesome brother and a very good man. You always put others before yourself. You were fun to be around and we know you really enjoyed family gatherings. I wish we had spent more time together these past few years but I will cherish the wonderful memories I have of you while growing up and then having families of our own. Those Friday night video parties back in the day are a particularly fond memory. We love you very much. Rest in peace Brother.

What we remember most about our uncle Paul was the baseball cap that never left his head. As children it was our mission to get that hat off of his head not only for the sheer victory of accomplishing such a feat but also just for the sake of seeing his incredible hat-hair! We can recall teaming up on Paul and mercilessly tickling him in hopes of disarming his defences and snatching the cap. And when we won we gazed upon the marvellous sight of hair that clung flat to his head just above the ears but hung full and thick beside his cheeks, a charming contrast to say the least.
Uncle Paul was a sweet man and will always be remembered for the smile he so freely shared and the laughter that was all his own.
