Obituary of Rita Eckensviller

Eckensviller, Rita Emma (nee Young) Passed away at the Westmount Long Term Care Center, Kitchener, on Tuesday February 26, 2013. She was born August 21, 1921 in Nipissing Township, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Eckensviller. Loving mother of Douglas (Barbara) Eckensviller, Judi (late Richard) Lankowski and Terry (Joan) Eckensviller; dear Nana of Leslie Eckensviller, Steven Eckensviller, Susan Lankowski, Gary (Gayle) Lankowski, Michael Lankowski, Tim Eckensviller and Cody Eckensviller. Also, loved by three great-grandchildren, Julia Bezouska, Jade Lankowski and Myles Lankowski. Survived by her sisters Loretta McKenzie and Erma Dominico, and sister-in-law Loretta Young. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Julia (nee Hinschberger) Young, her brothers John, Edward and Gilbert, and her sisters, Amelia Hummel, Frances Eckensviller, and Clara Eckford. Rita was a member of the CWL. She was a member of St. Louis R.C. Church, Waterloo for over 50 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rita with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Friday March 1st, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Saturday March 2nd, 2013, at 11:00am. Reception to follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment to then take place in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
