Obituary of Sylvia Huehnergard

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at age 88. Beloved wife of the late Harry (2006); loved mother of John and his wife Jo Ann Hackett, and Mark and his wife Heather; loving Nana of Susan; dear sister of Hedy Devine, and sister-in-law of June Wells. Predeceased by her sisters, Leona Koppeser and her husband Woodrow, Charlotte Weber and her husband Ross, and brothers-in-law Ervine Devine and Carl Huehnergard. Sylvia was a past president of the Ladies of Redeemer Lutheran Church, a long-time volunteer of the Canadian Cancer Society and of the Grand River Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday (this evening) from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Krestick officiating. A reception will follow immediately at the church.
