I have fond memories of the good times we had on Linksgate Road. You have been a very good friend - always staying in touch, even you moved to Kitchener. My sincere sympathies to Peter, Leslie and families.

I met Lu and Jessica Robinson at Centralia College in the late '60s. We were all on staff together and, I must say, our together time was filled with laughter and happy stories. We enjoyed hearing about Peter and Leslie and how Lu was dismayed when she had to nurse her baby boy (but no longer a baby but a very grown up teenager) through an illness. She was a LADY, yes, an honest and true LADY, and all of us were blessed by her presence. My sincere condolences to her family. She was a one in a million.

I have fond memories of Lu from our days volunteering together at the art gallery in London. She was a lovely lady. I am sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Forsyth as I knew her in 1976-78 was my favorite teacher at Centralia College. She was always very prim and proper but full of spirit and enthusiasm. I say prim and proper, not only because of her impeccable speech and posture but for the numerable lady like qualities and mannerisms she tried to instruct us with in order for us to become "proper ladies".
She had the greatest concern over her son Peter, who at the time was not married and had no apparent prospects at the time. Quite often she would pose this dilemma to the class hoping that one day she might spark some interest from one of the students.
Always fondly remembered I appreciate having had her as my teacher and roll model.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Forsyth, especially the story she liked to tell me about how at four years old I started calling her Lucy. She was a lovely woman, a very good friend to my mom and I will always remember her with a smile. My sincerest condolences to you Leslie, Peter and your families.

Sincere sympathy to "Lu's" family, we had great fun in the 80's with your Mom and Dad. We had a store across from the theatre in Blyth and met and became friends. Floyd is a retired teacher/principal so had alot in common and all had lots of stories to tell. We enjoyed having dinner one night at the Schoolhouse! I sent your Mom a note when your Dad died and she immediately wrote back to us, so sweet!! Loved that laugh and smile or was that a grin? Just wanted you to know how much we thought of your Parents. Sincerely Floyd and Liz Herman, Clinton

I waited over twenty-five years to meet a woman that I would call inspiring. A lady I could really look up to, admire and enjoy their company. Lucille was that lady to me. True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would like to have and those who have affected us in a way that makes us want to be better people. So happy I met you and will remember you forever. Thank you for being you.

Peter, Leslie and families - I was so sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. I have so many great memories of our time together in Ottawa, when we had our baby boys so close together. Many an hour was spent together shopping for baby items. We had such fun! Then when we both ended up in London, I was so lucky that our families stayed close. Your Mom was such a great lady, and I've always valued her friendship dearly. We may have drifted apart during our senior years, but Lucille was always in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure you will miss her greatly - I know that I will.

We were deeply saddened to hear of your Mother's passing. My mother Florence has many fond memories of Lu and Peter. In particular Mother treasured her friendship with your Mother and more recently enjoyed their telephone conversations after she moved. Your parents are an example of "lives well lived". Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Florence, Anne and Mark Wettlaufer
