I remember you Mom when you came out west by yourself after I had Chelsea!!! you stayed for 3 weeks to teach me how to be a mom!!! you stayed in a BUS that was all set up for you!!you awoke more than one day with a Cow looking at you in the window of the bus What a trooper you were for me and my daughter!!! when Kyle was born out you came again but this time we were in the log house and much nicer than before!!! I loved taking care of you later in your life as you had always done for me !!love you always my dearest Momma !!

I will always treasure the wonderful and everlasting memories I made with you and Father ,they were filled with joy and love to numerous to write down . We certainly had fun making them. The most important thing I will remember about you is when a nurse came in your room when you had your stroke and she inquired who I was you told her I was your son then you looked at me and said you didn't know you were my son did you . From that moment I loved you more than I thought possible . You will remain in my heart until we meet again .My heart is already aching for you Mom. your loving son in law Kevin x/o

Sincere sympathy to all of Anne's family. I was privileged to know Anne for more than 30 years dating back to our work together for The Lung Association - Waterloo Region. Anne was extremely knowledgeable about asthma and allergies and worked tirelessly to advance education and treatment for thousands of children and their families, as well as adult patients. She was a long time member of the Board of Directors and a strong, respected leader. Bill enjoyed attending annual meetings and special events with Anne; together they were a supportive pair - serious about the heavy responsibilities they gladly took on to make our community a better place, yet delighting in those around them and full of fun and laughter.
Anne was a person of high principles and deep thoughts. I recall with fondness her warm, caring support for others; she was keenly interested in what people had to say and actually listened when they said it, with that beautiful smile on her face. Most of all, I remember her deep love for her family - she was proud of each and every child and in-law and grandchild (and now some greats!)
I will always remember Anne with great fondness. We shall not see her like again.

One of my favourite memories of my mother was at the cottage in her younger years. Whether she was hanging laundry on the line or paddling in the canoe, she would sing. I never knew the songs she sang, but the way it would fill the bay with music, I shall never forget. Her joy came from spending time with friends and family, and we were fortunate enough to have a large extended family!! Somehow, she would find time to make pie and jam too!! She was also my biggest fan. When I started playing hockey, she drove me to Wilson arena faithfully for 7:00 a.m. practices and games. These are just a few of the thoughts that come to mind when I think of my mother. I'll Love you forever, like you for always, as long as I'm living, my mother you'll be......David

Many footprints wore down the path from "Sleepy Hollow"to the "Schreiter's Shoe" on Eagle Lake every summer. Those memories will be with us all forever. Anne's face was always smiling as she answered our knock at the door. Come in and have some lunch if you like or you can wait in the bunk house for the kids. It was such a joy to see her when she made her yearly trips to the cottage with Marty & Karen in tow. We will truly miss you Anne.
