Obituary of Georgina Byers

Passed away suddenly in Kitchener on Monday, March 4, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Jean(Georgina) Byers (nee Taylor) was born in Belfast, Ireland and was raised in Chipman, NB. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Byers. Loving mother of David Byers and Joanne, Steve Byers and Lea, Deb Hanley and Pat, and Donald Allen and Linda, all of Kitchener. Proud grandmother of Albert Byers and Suzanne, Brent Byers and Shelly of Thunder Bay, Janine and Mike Mann, Tiffany Byers and Peter, Bobby Byers and Julie, Jessica Byers and Tim, all of Kitchener, Phillip Jolliffe and Sue of Toronto, Kerri Jolliffe, Sean Jolliffe and Nancy, all of Orleans, ON. Great-grandmother of Anthony, Nicole, Emma, Evan, Zander, Ryan, Derek, Rowen, Porter, Colton, and Ryder. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Byers, parents David and Margaret Taylor; daughter Judith (Judy) Jolliffe; brothers William (Elsie), Robert and David (Kathleen) Taylor; sisters Agnes (Mike), Margaret Hickey and Minerva Taylor. Survived by her brother Andy (Eva) Taylor. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Jean during visitation with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Jim Koellner officiating. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo will be followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
