As I sit her and write this I am brought to tears. Its been a year since we have shared a cup of coffee or a quick phone chat. I truly miss those special moments. On the day you went to be with the Lord you were holding a special bunny. Peyton is often reassured that you are watching over her as she sleeps with it each night. She will often become emotional when something reminds her of you, grandpa does a great job at reminding her how much you loved her. With all our love mom, Peyton and Sherrie

To a one of a kind person: I think I could search forever and never come close to finding a more kind and caring person - I just feel so lucky and honoured to be able to tell everyone "yeah, that's my Grandma". There are so many memories that are made special by having you in them that I wouldn't trade for the world. The image that first pops into mind when thinking 'Grandma Kirby' is that squeaking rocking chair on the front porch of the cottage where you always sat, listening to the weather forcast.
You have been a constant - a staple - in my life that has always been there. Always dependable and reliable, ready with a pink lipstick kiss and hug. You're memory will always be kept close to my heart. You are loved and will be missed. Rest in peace.

It was with sadness I learned of Enid's passing.I was instantly taken back to the times I was in her presence and the memories brought a smile and a laugh as well. Enid was both kind and encouraging and very much a matriarch to be admired. I witnessed the love and resect she received from friends, family and her extended family at International and Idealease.Her sense of humour and lust for life made Enid a favorite in many circles. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

We were very fortunate to have spent a little time in her company on a few occasions and one very memorable weekend visiting at their cottage where we shared an evening of laughter and conversation and a morning taking in a "Jack's Belly Bustin" breakfast carefully supervised by Enid. Grandma, you are my inspiration. You were the most loving and positive person who never ceased to disappoint when it came to her family. I will always remember your wonderful baking (mmmm...those blueberry muffins even if it meant me getting eatin by bugs picking the blueberries for you), your patience when teaching me to properly swing a golf club (even at grandpa's boats expense), our late night laughter and looking at the stars, making delicious smores at our bonfires (even if we had to use the fireplace), and your way of making me feel loved just by sitting in a room. Mrs. Kirby, I had the pleasure of knowing you for 9 years. Before we first met, Christine made it clear to me that if I wanted to be with her, I would need to earn your approval. This was completely intimidating ... that is until I met you! Immediately, it became clear why you are loved and respected so much. You brought your warmth, kindness, and love for life and family everywhere you went. Christine is lucky to have you as her grandma and I consider myself privileged to have known you. From holidays gatherings to long weekends at the cottage, you always made me feel like part of the family.

Grandma, there are not enough words to express how much I will miss you. You have a large role in so many of my fondest memories. Aunty Enid - whenever I have been in your presence, love and joy has overflowed from you and touched all those near you.
It has always been a pleasure to spend time with you.
I have one memory of you that will always bring a smile to my face. When Leslie & I travelled by bus for a visit in Regina (at age 10 & 11 ), we arrived just as you had had your limit with Jeff and were chasing him around the outside of the house. You said, "Just a minute girls, he's been needing this for awhile" and off you went running!
