We have many wonderful memories of Mike at Sauble Beach. He always had a kind word and a generous spirit. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Margaret, Biz, Simon, Lily, Jane, Jonathon,Colin, the rest of the family and everyone else who's life he has touched.

Lyn And I went with M&M up to Lake Huron to see the cottage at Sauble and have a good look around. On the trip up there, we heard a radio report of a bear being sighted in the area of the airport. We stopped at Georgian Bay as Mike wanted to show us the fossils and shapes of the rocks on a beach. He and I were on a mission to see this wonder of nature but the girls were more interested in keeping an eye out for nature of the other kind. THE BEAR. While we never saw it I'm sure that Margaret and Lyn would have spotted it first. We will always remember our adventurous day with Mike up in one of his favourite areas, The Bruce Peninsula.

A great loss, we are deeply sad to hear of Mike's sudden passing. Having been his next door neighbour at the beach for the last 21 years have given us many fond memories of his kindness and happy disposition.
