Obituary of Ruth Schmidt

Ruth went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at age 86. Beloved wife of the late Michael (2006); dear sister of Ralph Smith and aunt of Lavern Smith and his wife Naomi, Dennis Schmidt and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Royce and a sister-in-law Mary Smith. Ruth coordinated the Gospel Singers Program for A.R. Goudie Eventide Home, Millwood Manor, Victoria Place and Winston Park for 16 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ruth with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, April 12 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Vinetta Sanderson officiating. A reception will immediately follow at the funeral home with interment in First Mennonite Cemetery.
