I was in the CR novitiate with David many years ago. I am sorry to hear of his passing and wish to send condolences to his family. I remember Dave for his wonderful sense of humor and his unique way of laughing. He put his heart and soul in all his laughs. Although our lives went in different directions, I shall always remember Dave.

I have known Dave and Margie for 38 years of my life. My parents known them for 44 years of their life. I went fishing with Dave and my dad and Michelle and Matthew and Robbie, Michelle and I caught a big fish together, Dave and dad helped us wheeled it in a put it in the box(Michelle started to cry because she didn't want them to eat it. Dave and dad threw it back into the water and that was one big fish got away. Dave and dad started crying themselves because it was the biggest fish we caught that day. Dave is a very special man and friend to me and my family. I'm going to miss you lots I know you will be watching over me from up above and guide me

My most vivid memory, which makes me smile to this day, is "Mr Jackson"''s laugh. (Even at 45 I have trouble calling him "Dave"). My mom and dad, Gerry and Margaret, and the Jackson's were lifelong friends. When I was a girl, the Jackson's would come over for the evening, to play cards or,just sit and talk, something I could not understand...how could adults talk for so many hours and not be playing?
My brother Tim and I would go to bed, and on many of those nights it took me a long time to fall asleep because Mr Jackson would either be laughing his hearty big laugh, or his snuffalpagus type snorting laugh...either way, there were times when I had to get up and ask my mom if they could all please be quiet so I could sleep!
I will remember those happy times when I think of Dave Jackson.
