We miss Bob very much he was our amazing friend from a couple of doors down. He was always there to help whenever and for whatever as you all know. He was a true gentleman and one of the most polite people we have ever known. Bob lived a good an honest life and we are sure touched many lives in his way there is no question we will miss him for a very very long time to come. We have our memories of Bob, they are many and always will bring a smile to our faces. We loved Bob very much he was truly one of the good people on the planet. Peace Bob!

I first met Bob when I was only "knee high" at my dad's office .Little did I know that when I was an adult, I would have the profound good fortune of crossing paths with him again. I feel most blessed to have exchanged stories and laughs with Bob over the last 14 years. There are many things about sharing time with Bob that have enriched my life, but the one thing that I will never forget is simply this....Bob would always walk me out to my car to make sure that i got in and away safely...only then would he get in his own car to head home. I have and always will think of Bob as one of the most sincere, genuine and compassionate "gentle giants" I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I am so glad our paths crossed... for my life has been made better by knowing Bob. I will miss him terribly.

Bob loved to share stories; he especially loved to tease about the "secret" stories and was always ready with a hearty laugh. Bob was a compassionate soul that loved to help people. Bob was there to help me as I renovated my office area and I could not have completed the project without his help. After the work was done Bob would come to visit to have a coffee, compare our "aches and pains" and enjoy our friendship. I am honored to call Bob a friend, hunting buddy and a co-worker and will truly miss his companionship.

Bob was like a uncle to me he was ALWAYS with my Uncle Larry and my Grandparents loved him like a son. He was always there to lend a hand and have a good big belly laugh. He will forever be remembered as Big Bob to us and I hope him and Larry are having a beer in heaven right now playing cards!

I cherish the great times we shared over the years. Not with hunting, nor did I work at Schneiders, but it was music we shared. Bob & Larry (it was rare I saw one without the other) shared their love of music with me, and were always so supportive in cheering me on with my singing back when the Stampede Corral matinees were hoppin'. Even a few years ago our paths crossed again more than once at a little karaoke place called the Corner Pub.
Bob was always so welcoming, he would often greet me with a big hug. With him so tall, and me so short, needless to say I was often lifted off the floor! And yet was still so gentle...a gentle giant who was left some rather large shoes to fill, as he set such high standards in what a good friend really is. And he did it with ease. A true inspiration to everyone, especially to me, so I will be thinking of him as I sing those old songs he loved.

Bob was a dear friend and will be missed in our daily life. Always there when you needed his help and never ask for anything in return. He was such a giving/gentle and hardworking soul and tried to bring happiness to everyone he knew.

Bob you may be gone, but you'll never be forgotten. We had many good times growing-up even if our parents would not have thought so. Bob you grew to be such a kind loving person and you've always had a special place in my heart. Our Love Always.

Mary, Lynn, Bill, Gwen and Karen - I was so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was always the gentle giant (to me anyway!) with the biggest smile - loved the picture of him. I will always remember him fondly and send my love and thoughts to all of you. Kim (Shantz) Trottier
